4 Inch LED Work Light
Whether you are on a construction site or working in a cramped garage or workshop, proper lighting is non-negotiable. LED work lights produce a bright, focused beam of light to illuminate your workspace and protect you from potential hazards.
Look for LED work lights that use a powerful, efficient, and durable bulb to maximize the lumen output. Opt for models that are sealed to prevent moisture and dust damage.
Strobe Lux
The Strobe Lux is a one-of-a-kind work light that doubles as a flash and can be used with other flashes for some pretty amazing capabilities. It has some of the best build qualities in the industry and can be left out in the rain without any issues. It also has a 1 m drop rating which means that it is very durable and can take some pretty rough use.
Unlike some other lights, the Strobe Lux can be mounted to different modifiers to help you shape the light. It comes with a mini Elinchrom mount that can be attached to various softboxes, making it easy to create the look you want. There is also a screw-on system that can be attached to various diffusers and lenses to help you get the perfect look.
Strobe Lux features two different optical trigger modes, which can be activated with a switch on the back of the unit. The S1 setting will turn the light into a secondary flash that can be triggered by another primary flash going off, while the S2 setting will do the same thing but avoid any pre-flashes from the primary flash. This is a great feature for anyone who wants to be able to shoot with strobes but doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of using a slave unit.
Quake Fracture Series
The new Quake Fracture Series uses powerful 4 Inch Led Work Light Epistar LED’s that have a lifespan of over 50,000 beaming hours and a super low amp draw. The lights are securely encased in die-cast aluminum housing and come with an IP67 dust proof rating. They are also resistant to shock, vibration, moisture, extreme temperatures and the test of time.
A team of Harvard scientists has been exploring how cracks start, propagate, and end. Their work could improve material science, earthquake prediction, and the production of geothermal energy, oil, and gas. They have discovered that a key factor in fracture slip is breakdown work, a property of the matrix rock that controls rupture velocity and ground motions. The results of this study suggest that different fracture models can produce nearly identical seismograms when they have similar breakdown work values. The scaling of breakdown work with seismic moment shown in Figure 9 is valid for both normal, thrust, and strike-slip earthquakes. This finding is especially important for kinematic models in which fracture energy strongly affects rupture velocity.

Metabo HPT
Those who use Hitachi power tools may have noticed the brand name change from Hitachi to Metabo HPT. The rebranding has come about as the result of corporate mergers and acquisitions. Investment firm ECE R65 led work light KKR bought Hitachi in 2017 and changed the company name to Metabo HPT.
Fortunately, this new name is just a facelift for the company with no other changes to the product line. Hitachi products remain in production with the same quality and reliability that professionals have come to expect. KKR just wanted to give the company more freedom to innovate. This also means the same great warranty that is already in place for Hitachi HPT power tools.
